Location: Taunton The Setting We are working with a welcoming and nurturing nursery based in Taunton, dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care for children aged 0-5 years. The Role We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join this dedicated and passionate team. You will help deliver inspiring learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and independence in every child. Main Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework - Support children's personal, social, and emotional development - Observe and record children's progress, contributing to individual learning journals - Ensure children's safety and wellbeing are always prioritised - Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues - Support children with additional needs where appropriate Essential Criteria Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (we would still like to hear from you if are level 2, or working towards it) Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years Sound understanding of the EYFS Excellent communication and teamwork skills A caring, patient, and professional approach Desirable Criteria Experience working in a nursery or early years setting Knowledge or experience supporting children with SEND Essential requirements: Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer Sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas. Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years). Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one* *Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70.
