Short Description

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a warm and nurturing early years setting in Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children during the most important stage of their development, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

* Support the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS framework

* Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities

* Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children

* Monitor and record children’s progress and development

* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

* Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and playtime

* Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Educational Requirements

* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)

* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – desirable

* Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

* Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake)

Experience

* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting

* Knowledge of the EYFS framework

* Experience supporting children aged 0–5 years – desirable

* Suitable for both newly qualified and experienced Nursery Nurses
