Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant - Handsworth

Zest are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Handsworth is looking for a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and committed to giving young learners the very best start.

About the Role

You will work closely with the class teacher to support high-quality teaching and learning within our EYFS setting. Your role will involve helping to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to explore.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across the EYFS curriculum
• Delivering engaging, play-based activities under the direction of the class teacher
• Providing targeted support for individual pupils and small groups
• Contributing to observations and assessments in line with EYFS requirements
• Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and social development
• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment

About You

We would love to hear from you if you are:

• Level 3 qualified in Early Years or equivalent
• Experienced in working within an EYFS setting
• Knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and child development
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young children
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
• Creative, proactive, and committed to high-quality early education
