Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a qualified and passionate Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Ashton area of Tameside. This is a full-time role starting in April 2026, with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
Supporting pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Assisting in the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational development Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
Key Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant (or equivalent Early Years qualification) - essential Previous experience working within an Early Years setting in a primary school A proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic approach Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parentsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school that truly values creativity and the EYFS approach to learning.
