Little Acorns Montessori is a family-run group that is expanding to its third setting. Established in 1994 in Winkfield, with a well established setting in Bracknell, we are expanding to a brand new purpose built site at Bucklers Park in Crowthorne.

Our settings have a warm, welcoming, inclusive and high-quality learning environment where children can thrive. We nurture children’s curiosity, creativity, and confidence while fostering a love for lifelong learning. Our Montessori inspired curriculum blends child-led activity, explicit teaching/direction, and play, in order to deliver the EYFS effectively. We aim to serve our local communities with affordable, flexible, high quality childcare that fits the needs of parents.

Our brand new Nursery setting in Bucklers Park Crowthorne opened in September 2025. In one term the setting has become full with a waitlist so we are looking to expand our existing team.

Setting

• Crowthorne: 8:00am - 6:00pm, ages 24 months to 48 months (new setting) open all year round (48 weeks). We are looking for someone to work between 38 - 45 hours per week.

Job Description

We are looking for a Level 2 / 3 Nursery Practitioner who can deliver outstanding care and high-quality early years education, supporting each child to reach their individual developmental milestones. You will work as part of a team to champion a safe, nurturing environment by upholding the highest standards in safeguarding, health, and wellbeing. You will be committed to meeting each child’s needs and providing them with the best possible start in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of the children
• Use educational strategies to support progress and achievement
• Oversee the progress, wellbeing and safeguarding of children
• Help to maintain a safe and secure environment, meeting all regulations, policies and procedures
• Engage fully in CPD to improve and grow as a practitioner
• Undertake self-evaluation regularly and contribute to wider improvement strategies
• Manage resources effectively and support with administrative tasks

About you

• We are looking for a passionate and driven Level 2 / 3 Nursery Practitioner who is committed to delivering the highest standards of childcare and early years education
• You will have experience working as part of an Early Years setting
• You will have a good understanding of the EYFS
• Approachable, caring and professional attitude that demonstrates integrity
• Committed to continuous professional development

Qualifications and experience

• Level 2 / 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working effectively within an Early Years setting

Essential Criteria

• Level 2 / 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working in an Early Years setting
• Excellent knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
• Good understanding of the EYFS

Salary

Depending on age, hours and experience - £25,114.96 - £29,741.40 per year (based on L3 qualification)
