Aspire People are working with a welcoming primary school looking for a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support children in EYFS and KS1. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the early development of pupils by supporting learning, behaviour, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils individually and in small groups during lessons
• Assisting with classroom activities, including literacy, numeracy, and creative tasks
• Helping to manage behaviour and encourage positive learning attitudes
• Supporting day-to-day routines, including lunch, break times, and personal care if required
• Observing and recording pupil progress to inform teachers and SENCO
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Recent experience working in a primary school environment
• Patience, reliability, and a positive, proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skillsUnderstanding of safeguarding and child development
