Your new company Desian Education are proud to be working in collaboration with a single-form entry primary school in Ellesmere Port that is at the heart of it’s local community as they require an experienced and motivated teaching assistant to join their team. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join an experienced and supportive KS1 cohort on a full-time temporary basis. Your new role As a teaching assistant within this school you will be working in collaboration with the year 1 class teacher, supporting them in the delivery of stimulating and engaging lessons by breaking down learning barriers and building strong constructive relationships with your new pupils. Your main responsibility within this role will be to support a new pupil to the school on a 1:1 basis. Your pupil has a dual diagnosis of ASD and non-verbal and due to their needs they aren’t able to access the curriculum.
