Lettings Officer
Salary: £29,000 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week
Our client is seeking an organised and customer‑focused Lettings Officer to join their welcoming and dedicated team based in Evesham. This is a fast‑paced and rewarding role, ideal for someone with a passion for housing and delivering excellent customer service.
You will take end‑to‑end responsibility for the lettings process, from pre‑tenancy assessments through to tenancy sign‑ups, ensuring customers are supported to move into their new homes smoothly and sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
Advertise and allocate vacant properties through Local Authority nominations, direct marketing, and estate agents Complete pre‑tenancy, affordability, and suitability assessments to support sustainable tenancies Prepare and issue tenancy offers and agreements, managing tenancy sign‑ups including new developments Support existing tenants through the termination process to minimise void periods and rent loss Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver a seamless lettings service Maintain accurate housing records, complete CORE data submissions, and contribute to continuous service improvement Coordinate garage lettings, furniture orders for temporary accommodation, and void property processes Attend and chair allocation panel meetings, including those relating to Extra Care schemesAbout You
Previous experience in a lettings, housing, or administrative support role Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills (including Microsoft Office) A customer‑centred approach with confidence handling sensitive or complex situations Flexible, proactive, and able to work effectively across different services and locations Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle insured for business use
