This is a field-based role located in or around North London, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various sectors.
Responsibilities
As a Legionella Risk Assessor, your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting comprehensive Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274, and BS 8580-1 standards. * Preparing detailed reports with actionable recommendations and clear action plans. * Advising clients on effective control measures and ensuring compliance with water hygiene regulations. * Managing your own schedule and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices. * Providing expert guidance to clients across commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor. * Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing. * Comprehensive knowledge of Legionella management and water hygiene practices. * Strong communication skills for detailed reporting and client interaction. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * A full UK driving license (essential). * Prior experience in water treatment/hygiene or working across commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors (desirable).
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:
* Traveling to client sites in and around North London to conduct risk assessments. * Collaborating with clients to provide tailored advice and solutions for water hygiene compliance. * Preparing and delivering detailed reports with actionable recommendations. * Staying informed about the latest industry regulations and standards. * Managing your workload and schedule independently while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
