Responsibilities As a Legionella Risk Assessor, your critical responsibilities will encompass:
* Performing Legionella Risk Assessments of water systems across diverse industries and geographies. * Auditing complex management protocols and planned preventative monitoring regimes. * Conducting a wide range of water hygiene tasks like water outlet flushing, temperature checks, and sampling. * Undertaking comprehensive written scheme audits and leading internal quality assurance assessments. * Traveling to client sites to support projects locally, nationally, and potentially internationally.
Qualifications To excel in this role, you should bring the following expertise:
* A City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment. * Established knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS:8580. * Experience with sophisticated water systems, including water softeners, vehicle washes, and industrial processes. * Proficiency in conducting written scheme of control audits and delivering actionable insights. * Strong interpersonal communication skills for seamless coordination with clients. * Excellent reporting and documentation capabilities. * Adeptness in software tools like Microsoft Word and Excel. * The ability to meet Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance requirements, ensuring your readiness for work in sensitive environments.
Day-to-Day Your daily routine will involve:
* Travelling to various client locations to conduct assessments with a mix of local, national, and global exposure. * Collaborating with the Water Hygiene Team as part of a multidisciplinary operation while also working independently where necessary. * Guaranteeing compliance with international water safety standards via thorough risk assessments and detailed audits. * Offering clients clear, professionally written reports with actionable recommendations. * Directly contributing to the broader safety and sustainability of water systems in diverse operational settings.
