They are seeking a multi-skilled Legionella Plumber, who can demonstrate strong hands-on experience and technical knowledge. The role will involve a diverse range of servicing and installations of domestic and commercial plumbing systems, including: tank refurbishments and deadleg removals. Experience / Qualifications:-Track record working as a Plumber within a Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit-Qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket-Will hold the NVQ Level 2 in plumbing, and ideally the NVQ Level 3-Conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines-Hardworking attitude-Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills The Role:-Attending client sites to conduct predominantly pre-planned maintenance and some emergency works where needed-Installations of vented and unvented cylinders and servicing of existing units-TMV servicing and replacements-CWST replacements, repairs and refurbishments-Deadleg removals-Replacements of components, such as: valves, pipework, vessels and taps-Fault-finding on existing systems and making recommendations for remedial works-Interpreting legionella risk assessments to determine required works-Pricing for parts and materials-Producing detailed service reports Alternative job titles: Remedial Plumber, Plumber, Remedial Engineer, Legionella Remedial Engineer, Water Hygiene Plumber, Remedial Technician, Environmental Service Technician.
