About the RoleWaldrons Solicitors are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join our Accounts team.This role offers the opportunity to play an important part in the smooth running of the firms financial operations. Working closely with the Accounts Manager, another Legal Cashier and the wider Accounts team, you will ensure that client and office transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules.This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing client and office receipts and payments via CHAPS, Faster Payments, BACS, cheques and card payments in accordance with the SRA Accounts RulesProcessing client to office and client to client transfersCompleting daily bank reconciliationsPosting client invoices to client ledgersProcessing direct debit and standing order paymentsInputting and paying supplier invoicesSupporting the wider Accounts team with general finance dutiesAssisting with administrative tasks within the Accounts departmentAbout YouIdeally you will have previous experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm and will be confident handling financial transactions in line with regulatory requirements.You will also have:Good working knowledge of the SRA Accounts RulesExperience using legal accounts or finance systemsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlinesGood communication and interpersonal skillsAAT Level 1 or higher (Desirable)A collaborative approach and the ability to work well as part of a teamConfidence using Microsoft Office and accounting softwareAbout UsWaldrons Solicitors is a well-established and highly respected law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to individuals and businesses across the region.Our success is built on the expertise and dedication of our people.
