Position Overview The Legal Adviser role involves providing expert legal advice on regulatory, policy, and public law matters relating to the higher education sector. Roles and Responsibilities

Advising on legislation affecting higher education institutions. Handling legal issues related to data protection, human rights, and consumer protection. Managing litigation including judicial review and regulatory appeals. Providing legal guidance to internal teams and senior management. Commissioning external legal counsel. Drafting legal guidance and internal policy documents. Supporting regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.

Eligibility

Qualified solicitor or barrister. Experience in regulatory law, public law, or litigation. Strong legal research and advisory skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
