The School for Vocational and Technical Studies at South Thames College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced lecturer to deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support to students to maximise achievement and continuous improvement.

Youll develop, initiate, promote and sustain innovative and quality improvement intervention strategies, playing a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum with employer engagement and learner skills development.

As our Lecturer, wed like you to hold a degree or relevant subject qualification (or equivalent professional experience), hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and have recent experience of teaching Law in a Further Education setting.

With a good understanding of current FE curriculum frameworks and quality standards, youll be able to differentiate teaching to meet a wide range of learner needs.

Youll be an organised individual, able to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons with strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate diverse learners.

Working collaboratively as part of a team and contributing to curriculum development, youll be a strong communicator, able to manage workload and meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.
