Learning Support Assistant - Lambeth

Location: Lambeth (near Brixton Station) Start Date: April 2026 Contract: Full-time | Summer Term (with potential extension) Pay: £95-£110 per day Key Stage: KS1

The Role

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in the Brixton area of Lambeth is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant from April 2026 for the Summer Term.

This role will focus on supporting pupils in a Year 1 class who require additional help to access the curriculum. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide in-class support, as well as delivering targeted small group interventions in phonics, early reading and basic numeracy.

There may also be elements of one-to-one support for pupils with mild to moderate SEN, helping them stay engaged, follow routines and build confidence in their learning.
