About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work on a full-time, long-term supply basis starting in September. The successful candidate will support students with a range of needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning difficulties. There is a strong potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEND

Assisting in the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs)

Supporting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Helping pupils access learning and develop independence

Requirements:

Previous experience in a SEND support role is essential
