ABC Teachers is looking for skilled SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN School in Birmingham on a full-time basis.
About the role:
Provide calm, consistent support to pupils with autism and other complex needs, helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. Build trusting, professional relationships with students to understand their individual needs and tailor your support accordingly. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver structured, engaging lessons, offering targeted support in small groups or 1:1 settings as required. Model respectful, inclusive behaviour and contribute to a classroom culture where every student feels valued, heard, and respected. Support pupils in developing emotional regulation, confidence, and resilience—empowering them to re-engage with learning at a pace that’s right for them. About the school:
