ABC Teachers are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Birmingham.\n\nAbout the School\n\nThe school is based in Birmingham and is easily accessible by public transport.\nIt offers an inclusive, highly supportive environment for pupils with a wide range of complex needs.\nPupils benefit from a nurturing and structured setting, where teaching, support, and care are tailored to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.\nAbout the Role\n\nWork closely with teachers and support staff to create positive learning experiences and promote pupils’ personal growth.\nProvide targeted support to help meet each child’s individual needs.\nAssist with communication, sensory regulation, and personal care routines.\nSupport pupils’ wellbeing while fostering independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.\nWe would love to hear from you if you:\n\nHave previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism, and sensory needs.\nSuitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.\nHave strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students\nAble to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.\nABC Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
