I am currently working with a wonderful faith school in North West London seeking to recruit a number of Learning Support Assistants to join their team in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with an interest in supporting children's learning and development, and a comittment to helping every child thrive in a nurturing and ambitious school community, especially if you have ambitions of undertaking teacher training in the future.
Key Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:
Support pupils individually and in small groups, helping them to access learning across the curriculum and running your own nurture group with SEN children. Provide targeted support for children with a range of needs
Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support the school's values around anti-racism, equity and community engagement
The Ideal Candidate for this Learning Support Assistant vacancy:
In order to work as a Learning Support Assistant, you must remain positive, resilient and have a caring approach to working with children
A team player who is reliable, enthusiastic and proactive
Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance (or equivalent experience)
A commitment to personal and professional growth
