What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Supporting Learning
Work closely with teachers to support students with SEND and EHCPs
Deliver tailored interventions and adapt learning materials
Provide 1:1 and small group support to keep students engaged
Supporting Wellbeing & Development
Build strong, trusting relationships with students
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills
Creating Inclusive Environments
Help remove barriers to learning
Support students with personal care or mobility needs where required
Champion a culture where every student feels valued
Tracking Progress
Record student progress and behaviour
Contribute to EHCP reviews and learning plans
Safeguarding & Support
Maintain a safe and supportive environment at all times
Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Uphold professionalism and confidentiality
Who We’re xehkeey Looking For

Essential
Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
Confident supporting behaviour and emotional needs
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Organised, proactive, and reliable
Desirable (but not essential)
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant (or similar qualification)
Experience with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs
Knowledge of strategies like PECS, Makaton, or sensory approaches
First Aid / Team Teach training
Driving licence and access to a car
