Learning and Engagement Officer (fixed term maternity cover)

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, inspiring learning experiences for children, young people and families. You will bring the story of St Pauls to life, supporting visitors to explore its history, heritage, and the Christian faith through creative and engaging sessions.You'll deliver sessions both on-site at the Cathedral and, occasionally, through virtual platforms, working with a wide range of audiences across different ages and learning needs.About youWere looking for someone who is enthusiastic, creative, and confident in working with young people.You'll have:A teaching qualification or relevant experience delivering learning to children and young peopleExperience facilitating engaging sessions in a school, museum, gallery, cathedral or community settingStrong communication and organisational skillsThe ability to work collaboratively and flexibly as part of a teamAn understanding of effective learning practices (formal and/or informal)Knowledge of the Christian faith and an ability to communicate its themes in an accessible wayConfidence using Microsoft OfficeThe successful applicant will also be expected to share in our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
