Learning & Development Coordinator

My client, a leading corporate finance law firm, is looking for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join its London‑based Learning & Development team. This role plays a key part in supporting attorney development across international offices, ensuring training programmes run smoothly and compliance requirements are met across multiple jurisdictions.

The role

As Learning & Development Coordinator, you will support the delivery of firmwide training initiatives and maintain robust compliance processes. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating training programmes and practice group sessions, managing logistics, attendance and reporting
• Tracking bar licence renewals, certificates and visa compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Supporting regulatory and compliance requirements, including continuing competence monitoring
• Administering the learning management system, including course creation, learning paths and credit allocation
• Supporting onboarding and departure processes, ensuring accurate training records are maintained
• Producing training and compliance reports and maintaining accurate data
• Booking external training, managing approvals and tracking spend
• Supporting mentoring programmes, inclusion initiatives and firm events
• Processing department invoices and expenses

About you

You will have experience in a professional services learning and development environment, ideally within a law firm, and a strong service mindset. Highly organised and detail‑driven, you’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders, managing competing priorities and handling confidential information with discretion.
