Senior / Lead Door Engineer Automatic Doors Location: South London / South East Salary: Up to £21.60 per hour Hours: 42.5 hrs/week + overtime available
Are you a technically strong engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Were looking for a Senior / Lead Door Engineer with experience in automatic doors - ideally with exposure to industrial doors, gates, and barriers . This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role, manage large projects, and mentor a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities: Lead on larger projects, taking ownership from start to finish
Mentor and train junior engineers, sharing your technical expertise
Liaise directly with customers, ensuring excellent service and communication
Conduct complex fault-finding, repairs, and manage recalls
Support with engineer worksheets, documentation, and site reporting
What Were Looking For: Strong technical and electrical knowledge, particularly with automatic doors
Previous experience with industrial doors, gates, or barriers is highly desirable
Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
Why This Role: 42.5-hour contracted work week, with regular overtime available
