Our client a leading aerospace and security company has an exciting opportunity for Lead/Principal Safety Engineer as part of the Integrated Sensor And Non-Kinetic Effects (ISANKE) and Integrated Communications Systems (ICS) TDP programme.
This role would suit a Lead/Principal Safety Engineer who:
Is comfortable working across the whole system and able to quickly develop an understanding of complex interactions and dependencies
Is familiar with aircraft level safety regulations and analysis
Is motivated to work closely with multi-disciplined teams to get down into the detail
Is capable of leading the delivery of system safety artefacts ensuring other teams/systems/aircraft level dependencies are identified and shared
Successful applicants will be able to:
Providing specialist safety advice to the SDA, to support their authorization of the Product safety, in accordance with Company processes
Ensuring that safety activities conducted on the Programme, within the scope of the TDP Systems, follow the plan described in the safety management plan and that the analysis is complete and correct.
Identifying and analysing intrinsic hazards, including mitigation to reduce the residual safety risks to an ALARP level for the ISANKE and ICS TDP system
