This role will work closely with the Programme Manager to administer the overarching programme plan for Leadership and Capabilities and support on administration duties for the wider team.
You’ll be at the heart of our team, aligned to the programme and supporting the Leadership Team as required.
What you’ll do:
- Working with Programme Manager to keep the team Programme plan and associated processes and documents up to date.
- Supporting the programme reporting and status updates within the team and to a central programme office
- Supporting the wider team on administrative functions such as meeting set up, booking venues, meeting agendas, action summaries, presentations and responding to mailbox queries
- Working alongside the data officer to gather and maintain databases to support dashboard reporting against our work priorities
- Supporting the Leadership Team with administrative duties
People and Inclusion is a delivery focused team within Strategy Transformation and Assurance, delivering effective services for our customers and people to enable more sustainable EA2030 outcomes.
This role is within the Leadership and Capability team focused on delivering the People Strategy (see attached information), in particular the objective ‘investing in your capability and growth’. The role will be aligned to the work stream of Programme Management.
Experience/skills Required
Essential:
- Experience of working within a project or programme environment with track record in project administration for example administering project plans, risk registers and action lists.
- Effective team worker able to work collaboratively to deliver business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with varied audiences across the organisation
- Analysing complex issues to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Independent problem solving with the ability to self-start, manage own time and support others to deliver as one team
- Demonstrates excellent use of technology to support effective working
- Experience of Microsoft products especially Excel, Powerpoint and Teams
- Experience of working in a HR and/ or Learning and Development Team environment
- Working knowledge of Power Apps such as Power BI

As a national role the office location is flexible. The role may require travel for meetings. Overnight stays may also be necessary from time to time.
