Senior Technology Architecture Lead

Overview

A well established international retail brand business is seeking a senior technology architecture leader to bring coherence, judgement and direction across a complex technology environment.

This role is not about rapid transformation. It exists to ensure technology evolves deliberately, remains commercially sound, and continues to support the business in a stable and reliable way.


What You Will Do

You will provide architectural leadership across major technology decisions, setting clear direction while enabling delivery teams to move with confidence.

Your remit includes:

  • Establishing clear architectural principles and guardrails
  • Guiding platform, integration and vendor decisions
  • Balancing cost, resilience, security and operational stability
  • Reducing unnecessary complexity and duplication
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders
