St Edmunds College is seeking an inspiring and experienced Lead teacher of Design & Technology to lead a successful and well-resourced department in our high-achieving school. The role of Head of Art, Design and Technology (and Food and Nutrition) may be available for the right candidate.

We are looking for a well-qualified teacher of Design & Technology with proven leadership skills, a passion for creativity, and a commitment to raising standards. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can motivate students and staff and drive forward teaching and learning across the department.

Design & Technology is taught to all students at Key Stage 3 and offered at GCSE. The department benefits from spacious, purpose-built workshops.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Design & Technology
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning
Monitor standards and support staff development
Ensure excellent pupil progress and behaviour
Maintain Health & Safety in workshops
Contribute to whole-school development and High-Performance Learning (HPL)
