Location: Central London, Hybrid working, 2 days a week onsite Oliver Bernard have partnered with a fast-growing, award-winning fintech company on the lookout for a Lead Software Engineer to lead one of their backend teams. You’ll help design and build scalable, high-performance systems that power a platform used by millions of users. What You’ll Do:

Build and maintain resilient backend systems using C# and .NET. Work across the full development lifecycle – from planning and coding to deployment and support. Build, manage and mentor a team of software engineers Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and other Dev teams in an Agile environment. Define roadmaps and strategy Lead on architectural decisions

About You:

Strong commercial experience in backend development with C#/.NET. Strong experience working in the cloud (Azure is preferable, but happy to consider AWS) Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and scalable architecture. Experience building high performing teams Excellent problem-solving skills with a collaborative, proactive mindset. Experience in fast-paced or regulated environments is a plus.
