Job Description

Lead React Engineer | Up to £87.5k + Amazing Benefits | Hybrid UK (1 day per month in London office)

Maze has been engaged by award-winning UK online retail business who is looking for a Lead React Engineer to join its growing team. The company partners with major global brands, attracting over 8 million monthly users. You’ll play a key role in scaling and shaping a highly impactful mobile app used daily by millions, while contributing to exciting greenfield projects that are modernising their tech ecosystem.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead development across iOS and Android apps using React and TypeScript.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver best-in-class mobile experiences.

• Build high-quality, scalable, and reliable app features - from design to deployment.

• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and ensure engineering best practices are upheld.

• Stay ahead of the latest mobile innovations and mentor others to achieve technical excellence.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Proven background in mobile app development, optimisation, and deployment.

• Experience in product focused businesses such as Retail

Advantageous to have experience with:

• AWS

• Expo

• Figma

• GraphQL
