We have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Planner to join the Tetra Tech Project Controls team. Alongside planning responsibilities, this role will support the planning team in their growth and development. There will be opportunity to be involved in strategic decisions for the project controls planning team, working alongside the Project Controls directors.
About You:
You will be an experienced Lead Project Planner and scheduler, who will undertake planning and scheduling functions and performance monitoring alongside the supervision and development of the planning team within Project Controls.
Development and updating of programmes.
Submission of NEC-compliant programmes for acceptance.
Using the principles of DCMA/CIOB Protocol to undertake integrity checks on supply chain and 3rdparty programmes.
Maintenance, control, analysis and recovery-plan activities, through all stages of the Project Life Cycle.
You will be capable of planning and scheduling major infrastructure, new build and refurbishment construction projects, including those with significant non-routine requirements.You should be proficient in developing programmes from first principles and be comfortable with the concepts of three-point estimates of time, the provision of time risk allowance and production of risk-adjusted programmes.
We are looking for an agile practitioner who can build relationships, communicate with and support the projects and programme teams, while bringing an innovative approach to problem solving and scheduling.
Experience leading a team
MACOSTE, MCIOB, MAPM or equivalent.
You should demonstrate a good level of proficiency in the use of industry standard planning software, although training can be provided.
You should have experience of using all industry-standard planning software, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project (including POL) and Asta Powerproject.
Experience of Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) would be an advantage. We can provide training in the tools we use to produce Monte Carlo simulations, such as Primavera Risk Analysis, Predict! and RiskHive Arrisca.
Experienceatproject level is preferred.
Experience of Defence sector projects is highly desirable.
Ability to obtain security clearance is required.
