These facilities play a key role in converting organic waste into biomethane, contributing to the UK's transition toward sustainable energy.This is a hands-on, site-focused role offering full project ownership across both technical delivery and commercial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of AD plant construction and upgrade projectsCoordinate contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary site teamsOversee project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achievedTake ownership of project budgets and cost controlProduce and manage weekly and monthly cost reportsReview contractor applications, variations, and financial forecastsIdentify and mitigate project risksMaintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholdersAbout YouProven experience as a Project Manager within:Renewable energy, AD, biogas, or waste-to-energyOR related sectors such as utilities, water treatment, or industrial/process engineeringStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and civil elements of infrastructure projectsExperience delivering site-based projectsDemonstrable commercial awareness, including budget management and reportingAbility to work autonomously in a lean project environmentKey Requirement - Commercial ResponsibilityThis role requires a Project Manager who is comfortable managing both delivery and commercial aspects of projects.
