Our client, a high-growth institutional fintech, is seeking a Head of Internal Product to build and lead their internal product function. The company provides the underlying technology and liquidity infrastructure that enables banks, hedge funds, and fintechs to operate safely and efficiently in the digital asset markets.

This is a strategic builder role with hands-on delivery responsibility, you’ll define the internal product strategy and roadmap, shaping the tools that power compliance, operations, trading, and risk management globally.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the internal product strategy and roadmap across compliance, operations, CRM, onboarding, and risk control systems.
• Translate business needs from trading, compliance, and operations into prioritised, measurable product initiatives.
• Own the full product lifecycle, from discovery and delivery through to adoption and continuous improvement.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to set standards for security, integration, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with legal and compliance teams to align with global regulatory frameworks (MiCA, VARA, payments licensing, etc.).
• Drive best-in-class product practices, including user research, experimentation, and KPI tracking.
• Lead and grow a small, cross-functional team focused on automation and internal tooling.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in product leadership within fintech, trading, or other regulated financial environments.
• Strong understanding of internal systems supporting compliance, risk, and operational functions.
• Technical fluency, able to review code (Python or JavaScript) and engage confidently with engineering teams.
• Experience with low-code/no-code solutions is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working cross-functionally.
• Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building scalable internal platforms.
