Lead Process Engineer – Gloucester

to join a well-established client based in

Gloucester

on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity offering a competitive salary and genuine room for growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Shifts

• 37 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

• Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm Salary

• £45,000 – £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience Benefits

• Support for training and additional qualifications Day-to-Day Duties

• Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations

• Implement and maintain process controls, SOPs, and production process maps

• Lead PFMEA and Control Plan activities in support of Quality teams

• Analyse manufacturing data to improve efficiency, flow, and waste reduction

• Support new product introductions and Lean improvement activities

• Troubleshoot process issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)

• Report on Process Engineering KPIs and support annual improvement plans Essential Skills

• Strong Process Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment

• Experience in CNC machining, assembly, sanding, and sawing processes

• APQP knowledge including PPAP, PSW, PFMEA, and Control Plans

• Experience using process tools such as Yamazumi, MOST, Value Stream Mapping, SPC, and Spaghetti Diagrams

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T

• Organised, methodical, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach

• Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills

• Experience managing a team

• Lean manufacturing experience including Single Piece Flow, SMED, 5S, and Jidoka

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Gantt charts

• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel

• British nationality required due to security clearance requirements Training Provided
