Lead Practitioner - SEMH Hub Provision\n\nLocation: Sheffield \n Start Date: ASAP \n Hours: Approx. 12:45pm - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday\n\nTradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a supportive school in Sheffield that is seeking an experienced HLTA or Lead Practitioner to lead a small in-school SEMH hub provision on a part-time, afternoon basis.\n\nThis role is suited to a confident and skilled practitioner who has previous experience running or leading a nurture group, SEND hub, or specialist provision for pupils with SEMH needs.\n\nThe Role\n\nTake day-to-day responsibility for an established SEMH hub provision\nWork with a small group of approximately 6 pupils\nBe supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant\nLead structured, therapeutic and nurturing activities tailored to pupils' needs\nUndertake planning and preparation (time built into working hours)\nProvide consistency and stability - the school is seeking the same practitioner every day \n\nDirect pupil time:\n\nApproximately 1:00pm - 3:20pm\nAdditional time either side allocated for planning and preparation \n\nThe Ideal Candidate\n\nHLTA status or equivalent Lead Practitioner qualification\nProven experience leading an in-school SEND / SEMH provision (essential)\nStrong behaviour management and relational practice skills\nConfident supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs\nAble to commit to daily afternoons on an ongoing basis \n\nWhy Apply?\n\nOpportunity to lead a specialist provision with high levels of support\nSmall group setting focused on relationship-building and inclusion\nSupportive school leadership team keen to appoint the right person\nImmediate start available \n\nIf you are an experienced HLTA or Lead Practitioner looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity in Sheffield where you can make a real difference, Tradewind Recruitment would love to hear from you
