This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering cutting-edge bespoke projects for clients worldwide, working in a fast-paced, innovative environment that values creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence.As the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take ownership of the organisations mechanical design activity ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Youll lead by example, guiding and mentoring engineers while shaping the future of complex mechanical systems that drive the companys success.Key Responsibilities:Plan, manage, and oversee mechanical design projects from concept through to completionProvide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teamsDevelop detailed mechanical designs and calculations for complex, high-performance systemsLead design, prototyping, testing, and validation of new products and design improvementsApply Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Value Engineering principles to ensure smoothtransition from concept to productionCollaborate closely with internal teams to align design, manufacturing, and delivery goalsPartner with suppliers, clients, and industry experts to solve technical challenges and innovate solutionsAbout You:Youll be a proven design leader with a track record of delivering complex engineering projects from initial concept through to successful implementation.
