The successful candidate will manage the teams focus on agreed engineering priorities, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently to meet production performance targets. This role is key to maintaining site reliability and manufacturing efficiency through effective leadership. Youll ensure smooth shift handovers, optimise workforce utilisation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Duties and Responsibilities:Plan and execute maintenance activities in line with plant gaps, shutdowns, and reliability improvements.Develop and deliver improvement plans to enhance equipment performance.Plan and execute maintenance activities in line with plant gaps, shutdowns, and reliability improvements.Attend daily engineering meetings to align priorities and communicate updates.Develop and deliver improvement plans to enhance equipment performance.Maintain systems and controls that ensure quality production at all times.Drive waste elimination initiatives and deliver cost-saving improvements.Support the delivery of key KPIs across Safety, Quality, Waste, and Capacity.Experience and Qualifications Required:Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship preferredElectrically biasedAble to lead the engineers on the electrical and mechanical sideGet in touch with Chatan Makan regarding this or any other maintenance opportunity across Essex and the Southeast.
