Deal with a wide variety of statutory licensing and registration functions affecting businesses and other organisations throughout the borough. Ensure complex licensing applications and enquiries are dealt with within required deadlines. Support the Licensing Manager and team in applying policies and legislation affecting the service area.

Work Environment Opportunities to work in a hybrid (office/home) environment during the working week. Offices are in The Forum, Hemel Hempstead with staff parking. Role Profile This role would suit a licensing officer who wants to progress in their career and is looking for a varied and unpredictable workload in a supporting role. Good overall knowledge of a variety of licensing functions and the ability to work well as part of a team, in addition to managing your own workload effectively. Qualifications

Applicants must have a driving licence that is valid in the UK and use of a vehicle. A basic check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
