If you’re someone who takes pride in transforming outdoor spaces and enjoys leading from the front, this role is built for you. We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Grounds Maintenance Technician to guide a small team delivering high-quality grounds services across a variety of client sites.
This isn’t a desk job — you’ll be out in the field, setting standards, motivating your team, and making sure every site looks its absolute best.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and organising a small team to deliver daily maintenance tasks efficiently
* Working alongside your team — setting the standard through your own work
* Maintaining landscapes to a high professional finish, including:
* Grass cutting, strimming, edging, and lawn care
* Hedge cutting, pruning, and weed control
* Litter picking and general site upkeep
* Operating machinery, including triple gang mowers
* Carrying out sports line marking when required
* Ensuring all work meets safety standards and company expectations
* Building positive, professional relationships with clients
* Managing tools, equipment, and daily paperwork accurately
What We’re Looking For
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Trailer experience (required)
* PA1 & PA6 certifications (required)
* Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
* Confidence operating triple gang mowers
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
* A proactive, reliable attitude with strong attention to detail
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
