Job DescriptionDescription As part\nof our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at\ncustomers’ homes, which makes you the face of our brand for people\nwho are worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide\nactivated alarms.

\n Key Responsibilities\n Sometimes you’ll be dealing with\nthe emergency services on behalf of our customers, making you part\nof a team that’s responsible for protecting people’s lives. They\ncould be vulnerable, elderly, or simply looking for help, and it’s\nthat level of empathy, plus the pride you’ll feel from caring for\npeople and keeping them safe in their homes that could make you a\nCadent person.

It’s a\nrole where no two days are the same, so from installation,\nreplacement, and maintenance of gas meters for our home and\nbusiness customers, to high rise and gas safety regulation surveys,\nto fitting cooker safety valves, when we say it’s a varied role, we\nmean it.

You MUST have a full valid driver’s\nlicence.

You will be\nrequired to work on a shift pattern rota [averaging 40 hours per\nweek] which will include weekends & unsociable\nhours. Experience and\nQualifications We are looking for\nexcellent communication skills and the ability to keep calm under\npressure. The ideal candidate shall:

Be able to work in a Dynamic and\ncollaborative work environment.

Have a Strong\nknowledge of gas systems, regulations, and safety\nprotocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills\nand attention to detail.

Ability to work\nindependently and in a team environment.

\n

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact\neffectively with clients and colleagues.

\n

You must\nhave either a CCN1 or\n CMA1 qualification to apply. A\n MET1 qualification would be beneficial\nbut is not essential. As well as experience working within a gas\nenvironment, including good knowledge of gas appliances; testing,\npurging and the commissioning of pipework.

\nAn understanding of Standards, Legislation,\nCodes of Practice and Health and Safety.
