Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:

Taking the lead on installation, modification, and minor commissioning of fire alarm systems

Supporting and mentoring other engineers on site, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard

Completing system upgrades, device additions, panel swaps, and all associated cabling work to meet project specifications

Maintaining and managing stock levels, tools, and equipment to ensure you and your team have everything needed for each job

Can you show experience in some of these areas?

Proven experience installing and modifying fire alarm systems, with a solid understanding of the technical requirements involved

Strong knowledge of fire alarm system brands such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Morley, Apollo, and Hochiki

Familiarity with British Standards (BS5839-1) and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system designs

Excellent communication skills, both for liaising with clients and working closely with project and service teams on site
