Job Description Be the Driving Force in Power Projects – Principal Engineer (Civil/Structural)

BakerHicks are looking for a Chartered Principal Civil or Structural Engineer to lead the delivery of power sector projects from either our Warwick, London or Scotland office. This is a senior role where you’ll take ownership of projects, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and act as the key point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities
Lead civil and structural engineering input on power projects
Provide technical direction and ensure quality across all design stages
Mentor, support and develop junior engineers within the team
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
Support business development and contribute to the growth of our power offering

What we’re looking for
Chartered Engineer (ICE or IStructE)
Strong consultancy background in civil or structural engineering
Experience in the power sector, or interest in applying your expertise to this field
Proven leadership and project management skills
Excellent communication and client-facing ability
