Job Description

Lead Electrician\n\nEmployment Type\nFull Time | Permanent\n\nSalary\nUp to £55,000 depending on experience\n\nOverview\nWe are seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to support electrical installations across public sector and commercial renewable projects across the UK. The role involves leading small teams on site while remaining hands on with installation works across commercial solar PV projects and associated electrical infrastructure.\n\nThis position involves Monday to Friday site work with regular staying away depending on project location. A staying away allowance will be provided.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n• Lead electrical installation works on commercial and solar PV projects\n• Supervise and coordinate electricians and mates on site\n• Install containment systems including tray, trunking and ladder\n• Cable routing, pulling, termination and connection of electrical systems\n• Support testing and commissioning of completed installations\n• Ensure works are completed safely, to specification and in line with programme\n• Liaise with site supervisors, project managers and other trades on site\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation\n• AM2 qualification\n• ECS Gold Card\n• Proven experience working as a lead electrician or supervising teams\n• Strong experience on commercial electrical installations\n• Commercial solar PV installation experience\n• Full UK driving licence\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\n• 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent\n• Additional renewable training such as solar PV courses\n• Experience working on public sector or large commercial projects\n\nWorking Pattern and Benefits\n\n• Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience\n• Company van provided\n• Monday to Friday site based work\n• Staying away required depending on project location\n• Staying away allowance provided\n• Opportunity to work on large scale commercial and renewable projects
