Salary: Up to £55,000 (Dependent on Experience) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our client, a globally recognised manufacturer operating within the HVAC and data centre sectors. This static-site role is based at a major data centre project in North West London (NW10) and offers the chance to take a leadership position in a technically challenging and mission-critical environment. As Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the full electrical commissioning process of advanced Air Handling Units (AHUs), power distribution systems, and integrated controls. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure all systems meet performance, compliance, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the electrical commissioning of AHUs, power systems, and controls on a high-profile data centre project.
Supervise and mentor junior commissioning engineers, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.
Coordinate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to meet programme timelines and project objectives.
Perform functional testing, fault diagnosis, and system validation in accordance with commissioning protocols and ASHRAE L1-L5 processes.
Proactively identify technical issues or risks and implement corrective actions.
