This is a brilliant opportunity for a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to join a well-known aeronautical company to be responsible for overseeing the solutions architecture of DevSecOps processes. In this role, you will define and drive a unified CI/CD strategy, enabling secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery across multiple digital product teams. You will play a critical part in shaping future DevSecOps practices, optimising cloud infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration of key platforms including Salesforce into a cohesive engineering ecosystem.

Main responsibilities
Define and deliver a forward-looking DevSecOps strategy and roadmap, fostering an engineering culture centred on quality, automation, and reliability.
Architect secure, stable, and cost‑effective deployment pipelines and cloud platforms.
Ensure alignment of systems, platforms, and processes with organisational technology standards.
Stay informed of emerging tools and industry trends, recommending improvements to enhance delivery and security.
Work closely with product owners and technical leaders to ensure feasibility, prioritisation, and alignment with business goals.
Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, promoting best practices in CI/CD, automation, and secure code development.
Requirements
Proven experience designing scalable technical solutions and translating business needs into engineering outcomes.
Background in DevSecOps, software engineering, or cloud architecture—ideally with responsibility for setting technical direction.
Hands‑on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, DevSecOps tooling, and secure development practices.
Experience designing and integrating systems using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware technologies (e.g., MuleSoft).
Solid understanding of governance, security, and compliance frameworks, such as GDPR or SOX.
Salary between £95,000 - £105,000 + up to 20% bonus
Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office
