Lead Aircraft Stress Engineer Aerospace StructuresPermanent | Aerospace | Advanced Air MobilityWe are recruiting for an experienced Aircraft Stress Engineer to join a cutting-edge aerospace programme focused on eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft and advanced air mobility platforms.This role is ideal for a hands-on Structural Analysis Engineer with strong experience in airframe primary structures, composite materials, and certification-driven environments.Key Responsibilities:Perform detailed stress analysis on composite and metallic aircraft structures (wing, fuselage, empennage)Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using tools such as Nastran, Patran, Hypermesh, Abaqus or Simcenter 3DProduce and check stress reports (PSR, JSR) to support airworthiness and certificationSupport FAA / EASA certification activitiesParticipate in design reviews, trade studies and structural optimisationEnsure structures meet safety, manufacturability and maintainability requirementsExperience of leading engineering teams ranging from 5 to 20 team membersRequired Experience:Background in aerospace structural analysis / aircraft stress engineeringStrong knowledge of composite and metallic airframe structuresHands-on experience with Nastran or equivalent FEA solversExperience writing formal stress reports and certification documentationFamiliarity with airworthiness regulations (FAA, EASA)Desirable: Hypersizer, Solver 400, Simcenter 3D, Windchill PLM, rotorcraft or eVTOL experience.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to next-generation electric aircraft in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.Apply now to discuss this opportunity in confidence.JBRP1_UKTJ
