Lead Dental Nurse- part time

This is a senior position within the practice.

The practice is looking for a very experienced Lead Dental Nurse who can step into a well-established position.

Responsibilities for Lead Dental Nurse- part time

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Lead and manage the nursing team

Organise staff rotas (schedules)

Manage stock control (supplies and materials)

Communicate effectively in English

Demonstrate strong knowledge of CQC regulations

Ensure clinical compliance is maintained to a high standard

This role involves more than clinical duties; it includes leadership, organisation, and regulatory responsibility.

Working hours for Lead Dental Nurse- part time

Wednesday: 08:00 – 17:30 (1 hour unpaid break)

Thursday: 10:00 – 16:00 (30-minute unpaid break)

Friday: 08:00 – 17:00 (30-minute unpaid break)

This equates to approximately three working days per week.

Additional expectations

The candidate Lead Dental Nurse should be willing to provide cover for holidays and sickness when required
