Lead App Support DevOps Engineer SC Cleared £490-510/day 6 month contract with opportunity to extend
Our consulting client is looking to expand their team with a Lead Application Support DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Security Clearance (SC) is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities: - Leading and managing a small team of application support engineers, ensuring effective support and maintenance of applications. - Leverage Azure, Microsoft .Net, Ansible, and Terraform for application development and management. - Implement and maintain ITIL processes to enhance service delivery and management. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams within a large organisation to ensure seamless service management. - Manage applications within Azure environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. - Have experience inan Agile environment, actively contributing to team efforts and processes. - Utilise tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps as needed.
Qualifications and Experience: - Proven experience in leading a team of application support engineers. - Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL processes, with certifications preferred. - Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft .Net, Ansible, and Terraform is advantageous. - Experience in application management within Azure environments. - Ability to work effectively in an Agile team setting. - Experience with Jira and/o...
