About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior/Lead Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join our team based in Northamptonshire. In this key role, you will take technical ownership of installations, maintenance, and fault diagnosis across a variety of commercial and industrial sites. You will also provide leadership and guidance to engineers and ensure the highest standards of service delivery and safety are maintained.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and carry out the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of air conditioning systems (e.g., split, multi-split, VRV/VRF) and refrigeration equipment (e.g., cold rooms, chillers, display cabinets).

Oversee and mentor a small team of junior and intermediate engineers.
*
Act as the main point of contact for clients on-site, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction.
*
Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs independently and efficiently.
*
Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and other relevant health & safety legislation.
*
Provide technical support, training, and guidance across the engineering team.
*
Complete and maintain accurate service reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
