Location: Kitts Green, Birmingham Working Hours: 07:00 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday | 07:00 - 13:00 Friday Salary: £14.00 per hour + holiday pay Contract Type: Temp to Perm Hours: Full-Time, Ongoing

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable Laser Setter/Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Kitts Green, Birmingham. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work and operating CNC laser cutting machinery to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Setting up, programming and operating CNC laser cutting machines

Cutting metal materials to technical drawings and specifications

Adjusting machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality

Carrying out quality checks and inspections on finished products

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Working to tight tolerances and production deadlines

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times

Following all health and safety procedures and site rules

Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Laser Setter/Operator using a Bystronic Laser Cutter

Experience operating CNC laser cutting machinery

Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment ...
