LANDSCAPE ARCHITEC DESIGNER
4-day week / 10-hour shifts

SuperiorScape, Inc. is currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Landscape Designer & Estimator to join our team in Westover (near Chelsea, AL).
You will be crafting compelling landscape designs while also owning the estimating and budgeting process that brings those designs to life. You'll work closely with contractors and clients to deliver projects that are both beautiful and financially sound.
Established in 1993, our company specializes as a general landscape contractor dedicated to providing high-quality service throughout the Birmingham area.
The salary for this full-time position ranges from $65,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year, based on experience and capabilities. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday), with occasional weekend work as required.

Paver Patios - Retaining Walls - Grading - Drainage - Plants - Trees
Key Responsibilities:
Design
Lead and contribute to landscape design projects from schematic design through construction
Develop site plans, planting plans, grading and drainage layouts, and construction details
Conduct site visits, assessments, and client consultations; present design concepts clearly and confidently
Collaborate with landscape architects, civil engineers, planners, and other project stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
• Estimate landscape construction plans.
• Develop and present landscape construction estimates.
• Communicate effectively as part of a team; understand sales and have negotiation techniques.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, and homeowners.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local landscape construction codes, ordinances, and regulations.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
• Maintain technical knowledge of landscape construction components and their functions.
• Organize resources and establish priorities.
Experience Requirements:
• Residential and commercial landscape construction/ estimating background.
• Strong plant and turf identification
• Talented communication skills: in-person, verbal, and written.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task and focus.
• Team leader and leader- must have a growth mindset.
• Dedicated to customer service, with an out-going, and likable attitude.
• Exhibits a high attention to detail.
• Computer and technology savvy.
• Ability to form strong relationships with customers to create repeat business.
